Scotty MackScotty Mack
Hot Springs, Arkansas

Hot Springs' Scotty Mack has a familiar, favorite face for members of the Little Rock Bop Club, as he deejays for our weekly club meetings and other events. Scotty's home-grown disk jockey goodness began when he started collecting rhythm & blues and rock & roll records at the age of 10. He has made his career on the air and in management for radio stations in Memphis and Hot Springs. As well as the regular deejay for LRBC, Scotty fills in for the Heber Springs Jitterboppers, plays a twice-monthly Oldies Dance Party at Boot Scooters Kountry Club in Hot Springs, is a popular freelancer for private parties in the Hot Springs area and has been a featured deejay at Casino Royale in Tunica for the Memphis Bop Club for several years. Scotty is on the board of directors of the National Association of R&B DeeJays, and is part owner and program director of radio station KVRE in Hot Springs Village, Ark.

Tom and Edie PolzinTom and Edie Polzin
Horn Lake, Mississippi
(Memphis area)

Tom and Edie Polzin are active members of the Memphis Bop Club. Tom has been a disk jockey since 1987 and Edie has been assisting him for the past eight years. Tom is originally from Wisconsin and Illinois, but "country girl" Edie has been teaching him to say "y'all." They’ve both been dancing most of their lives, and dancing together for the past thirteen years. Tom is president of the National Association of R&B Dee Jays, and they are both honorary members of the Heber Springs Jitterboppers. Tom is a board member of the Memphis Bop Club and Edie has served on the same board as well, both over the last fifteen years. Edie and Tom are also both members of the National Boppers Hall of Fame. They have performed at their club's own "Casino Royale" event, as well as "Rollin On The River" in St. Louis, "Bop On The Lake" for the Little Rock Bop Club, "Back to the Beach" in Jacksonville, and "Return to the Past" in Savannah. They have enjoyed playing for the Jefferson County Swing Dance Club' annual "Mardi Gras" event the last two years in St. Louis, and been invited to present their music at St. Charles Swing Dance Club and M.U.S.I.C Dance Club in the St. Louis area. Those who saw them play at Bop on the Lake 2000 through 2004 will remember the "Tom and Edie Show" as a high-energy visual as well as musical treat. They’ve promised more!
